  1. TKoolhaas Plus scored this whisky 88 points Connoisseur

A beautiful golden brown color, the tears roll slowly down the glass. The structure is good but not very thick. To be honest I expected a bit more complexity given its age. But it doesn't matter. Because it is barrel strength the aromas and flavors it gives are quite intense.

    • Nose
As soon as the lid of the glass comes off, the roasted hazelnuts come towards you. Fresh, slightly bitter walnuts also pass by. After the nut melange, the sweet PX tones pop into your nose. It is overwhelmingly good and fruity. Freshly planed wood. Butter cake. Honey.
    • Taste
It is slightly bitter on entry but soon the px cask also takes over here. The px cask brings us all kinds of red fruit from fresh to sultry. Custard cakes. Tea. The taste is smooth but there is also a bite in it. Shortbread cookies.
    • Finish
Tea, vanilla, and again a slightly dry/bitter taste. It doesn't dry out the tongue but you can taste it. The finish is fine and quite long. Slightly peppery. Shortbread cookies.
