  1. Archer scored this whisky 88 points Connoisseur

A beautiful Dingle Single Malt. The rye cask finish has been carried out carefully, at least the rye note can never be considered obtrusive. Class.
    • Nose
      88 88
Very fruity nose with the notes of raspberries, strawberries and wine gums typical of Dingle single malts. Right from the start, this is accompanied by an aroma of fresh bread dough and yeast, garnished with tarragon, chervil and allspice. The rye note (the bread dough) is very subtle, by no means dominating, only accompanying.
    • Taste
      89 89
Very tasty entry, lies creamy and warming on the tongue, delivers fresh raspberries and strawberries, the intensity of which is kept in check by freshly baked bread with a dark crust. Milk coffee, almond chocolate, grated hazelnuts, nougat. Thyme, rosemary and chervil add just the right amount of spice.
    • Finish
      88 88
Medium length, now slightly dry, but does not lose its creaminess. Has succinct chocolate notes and nougat for a long time, the subtle rye note is still there, fruit notes are slowly fading away.
