N: Delightful balanced nose but also Intense with a bit of everything. Rounded nose, honeyed sweetness, some understated meatiness and a fresh biscuity note - most engaging. Some floral notes, garibaldi biscuits, bananas coming through, mature coconut milk, honey, vanilla and a pineapple or papaya note. Buttery too. Most reminiscent of the Boisdale Clynelish [15yo] WB.

T: Sharp peppery spicy arrival, woody, quickly turning softer and more chalky and floury as the spices settle. Its a little harsh at times

F: The malt has a chance here, 'spey like' but with a coarse/spicy/chalky/woody edge. Fruit biscuits again, sweetish limes and aniseed bombs. Cordial vibe. Wood spices appear again. Now a bitter lemon and dark cocoa appear. Theres a fresh chalky, flouriness all the way through, its lively and unpredictable, which i like. As this oxidises, the cocoa coupled with a light lime citrus note dominate the finish. A dark [sweet] carob chocolate note concludes, great!

C: Most welcoming drinker, simple nose with a lovely dark chocolate finish. A little harshness at times. You can throw water at this, its unaffected. Its a precocious malt despite its 18 years.  Fun indeed, and recommended to a point. I wont be in a rush to buy another bottle from this cask but I'm certainly keen to try another Tullibardine.
