If anyone likes Old Ballantruan, Caol Ila mentioned by Chieftain's or even Tomintoul Peaty Tang, he's in a good address, every one of them has something. Because of whisky youth, a very promising distillery. Do not underestimate France, these Brittany guys have a very good idea.
The scent reminds me of Caol Ilu's 13th Manzanilla finish from Chieftain's. Very nice sweet peat fragrance, which goes up to the punch cake, deep breathing and searching for iodine touch, but the main feature is really sweet smoke. Great performance for only three year old whisky!
The taste is still thinner yet, but it corresponds well with the scent, I would say that, unlike her, it still needs some time. Otherwise slightly pungent and sweetish, with slowing down.
