- there is another expression with a capsule black and white stripe
- The nose wins here: lovely, balanced, rounded, festive. It's very alluring. Tasting this whisky I understood for the first time that the nose of a whisky can be at least as enjoyable as the palate. Revelation! In this case the nose is much more complex.
Rich dried fruit, raisins, jam, vanilla, wood notes, dark rum. Honey and floral notes coming through with a little water added.
Smooth, initially muted developing with deep orange fruit, honey, christmas cake, sherry
Drying wood, dried fruit, hint of marzipan
