Yes, you can try it. This is a modern sherry malt, not overly sherried but clearly recognizable. Fresh but not "youthful". passable.
[86 - 82 = good whiskey -> get (second) bottle? Maybe...] Recommended for sherry malt beginners, not too complex, but still a lot to find; the price of 40-45 euros is reasonable to ok.
    • Nose
      85 85
fresh notes of sherry, red fruits, light sweetness of honey, caramel and toffee as well as hints of marzipan and some vanilla.
Typical sherry spices including light musty notes and spice notes from the oak barrel. Light floral aroma in the background.
    • Taste
      85 85
Fruity, slightly spicy; fresh oranges come into their own here; Overall, the sherry appears fresh (i.e. not old and heavy or stale sherry, but "modern" charged). dark chocolate.
2nd Sip: lots of sherry moments again, oranges, nice spices coming from the sherry. All in all it looks harmonious.
    • Finish
      83 83
Sherry, oranges, spices, oak freight on the tongue, dark chocolate.
