The nose is incredibly delicate and filigree, reserved and elegant. In terms of taste and aftertaste, tart and bitter elements often come into their own, a really changeable and multi-layered malt. Interesting bottling, I like the interplay very much ...
    • Nose
Reddish copper shimmers in the Premium Snifter, an oily streak sticks to the glass wall while timidly juicy apples and sweet mandarins rise from the glass. Hazelnuts and creamy almonds follow, plums and plums, hints of cedarwood and meadow herbs end in light wood tones and a pinch of dried herbs. The nose is extremely delicate and "fragile", light fruits play with subtle sweetness and restrained wood tones. Milk chocolate and toffee, cream candies and timid fruit aromas slowly stimulate the flow of saliva.
    • Taste
Mild with a fine chocolate and toffee note, the first sip flows through the palate and immediately leaves a touch of peppery sharpness on the tip of the tongue. Fudges and creamy caramels follow with creamy chocolate and end sweet on the palate. Mandarins, apricots and zest from old grapefruit combine with a sour citrus note to create an alternating fruit mixture, spicy, delicate wood tones stick to the palate while wet leather slowly rises from the complex fruit mix. Minimal sharpness tickles the tongue, echoes of furniture polish and bitter wooden elements are slightly bitter on the tongue. Voluminous warmth draws through the palate ...
    • Finish
Dark wood tones and old hazelnuts lie slightly tart on the tongue, creamy, wet leaves are slightly bitter on the palate before sweet oranges and old apples slowly combine with leather and minimally smoky notes. The dark and bitter wood tones increase, the sharpness sticking to the tongue briefly stimulates the saliva before a touch of furniture polish, old leather and dried mint with a minimal note of eucalyptus fades away on the tongue.
