  1. Larry411 scored this whisky 86 points Expert Senior

Initial review (January 2022): Moderately hot chili peppers, grilled bell peppers, bacon grease, under cooked salted chicken skins, over-ripe (to the point of dripping) strawberries, red wine tannins, oranges and their skins, diet vanilla cola, wet Wheaties, apples, and fish oil. If you want an odd whisky that isn't as sweet as most, this is certainly an option. I like it. 84/100

1 year and 8 months later (August 2023, 70% full): Drinking from a fresh pour, it's very citrus fruit forward, full fruits (skin and all), smoky barrel char, chalky, waxy/fish oils, and tannic. Letting it breathe 30+ minutes, cantaloupe, honeydew, green bananas, 1 cent bubblegum, vanilla, and chalky mints show up, with the citrus fruit medley still leading, but with a more subdued and balanced tannic waxiness. In short, lots of oxidization improves this quite a bit. 86/100
