    - great bourbon
    - extremely intense and complex,
    - You can also drink super without water
    (who likes it)
    - still very proud price
    • Nose
      surprisingly subtle and reserved, light sweetness, vanilla, honey
    • Taste
      oW: very soft but very intense voluminous appearance, lots of vanilla, light oak;

      mW: even softer and more aromatic, soft sweetness, vanilla, extremely balanced, very tasty, surprising with its intense but not intrusive nature
    • Finish
      medium-long soft finish;

      long sweet warm aftertaste (some oak and spice linger)

    Not exactly cheap - but - a really good bourbon:
    intense, powerful, full-bodied and complex!
    [Color] copper;
    • Nose
      lots of caramel, vanilla, corn, honey, citrus, spices;
    • Taste
      with water: intense, full-bodied, citrus fruit (orange), honey, caramel, nuts, spices (clove, pepper), beautifully complex;
    • Finish
      medium length, citrus fruit (orange peel), sweet, slightly bitter, dry woody;

    A little bit harsh at first but very pleasant after a couple of minutes.
    • Nose
      Notes of citrus, attributable to the rye grain, and toffee, from the barrel, lead off the front, and soft notes of clove and caramel follow. Overall, the nose is well-balanced but a bit soft when compared to the new higher-proof offerings now filling shelves.
    • Taste
      Similar to the nose, citrus notes balanced with sweeter notes like vanilla and caramel lead off the front, and some very light floral notes follow.
    • Finish
      Dry, and slightly bitter tone, with notes of toasted nut and oak joining the floral and citrus notes

    Good. I like it, but it is extreme. 83rd
    • Nose
      Vanilla, vanilla, vanilla. Caramel, glue, caramel. Orange. Sweet.
    • Taste
      Vanilla, orange, the mouth becomes dry.
    • Finish
      Long, dry, orange peel, vanilla.

    A very good bourbon with a very distinctive character that I will remember well.

    Enthusiasm 4/5

    Whiskey n ° 1401
    • Nose
      Not sure which batch I tasted but finally ... here.

      Duo wood / solvent usual bourbons but doubled some welcome sweetness. Sparkling spices, caramelized almonds. Flattering. With water we come back to something more "dry", more classic.
    • Taste
      Balanced, fluid, spices that assert themselves. The note of corn is not very pronounced, we do not have this side fat / popcorn very usual and that's good, it distinguishes it!
    • Finish
      Intense and caramelized, the spices are softer with a little water.

    • Nose
      Green, artificial apple. Bubble gum and citric acid. Sweet honey, natural chocolate bean, vanilla aroma and the smell of a christmas market.
    • Taste
      Dark, toasted oak. Dark chocolate. Roasted nuts, raisins, cinnamon, cardamom, muscat and vanilla.
    • Finish
      Short finish, dry with the taste of rye bread. Vanilla, bitter almond and wood.

  9. granella2003 scored this whisky 85 points Connoisseur

    • Nose
      Intense aromas of dry and fine wood and dried vegetables supplemented by herbs and flowers
    • Taste
      A powerful, rich and tangy taste of honey, dried fruits such as plums, vanilla, chocolate and spices such as cloves and cinnamon
    • Finish
      A long finish of vanilla, nuts and wood with hints of apple and caramel. Yummy!
