    Unique range of flavors.
Very special. A dram to discover.
Reminds me of Caroni Rum in its best moments.
    Certainly not an everyday dram.
The price for a whole bottle is okay today.
Absolute recommendation for whisky nerds looking for something "new".

    right gold.
Really nice aroma that builds. Baked pastries. Lemon shortbread. Very old skool bourbon. Old earthy and damp moss. Some builders putty. Old solvents. More bitter metallic industrial notes. Taste. Quite waxy to start. Some bright fruits and tarts. Some antiseptic, Salt and lemons. Quite saline on the finish. Not a very busy finish though.

Great malt with associations of sweet pastries, orchard and just the right amount of wood.
    Thank you Ingo!

    Online blind sample...
    I liked that very much.
    • Nose
      Colour:
      Shiny gold

      Nose:
Starts with vineyard peaches and overripe tangerines. Appears very settled and mature. Just exude calm. Dusty wood, sour bread dough, powdered sugar and yeast join in.
With a little time in the glass follows nougat, vanilla and there is something else inside that reminds me of a bouquet of flowers on the table. The longer I smell it, the more the colleague reminds me of apple strudel with vanilla sauce and powdered sugar. A fresh mint rounds off the story with hints of coniferous forest.
    • Taste
Slightly peppery with a pleasant dry - woody bitterness. Caramel and light dried fruits.
On the second sip, more vanilla and mealy apple. A sweetened tea note and an oily interlude opens up. Followed by hazelnut cream and waffles. Also in the taste of powdered sugar. Then develops towards the end, slightly tropical.
    • Finish
      Short to medium length.

Cereals, shortbread, leather, some nuts, vanilla and grassy.
    • Taste
      91 91
Peppery, oily, burnt sugar, some bitterness and walnuts..
    • Finish
      91 91
Dry, with nutty flavors fading away very slowly.

Pasta! (Norwegian waffle dough, rye and spelled bread, unripe local fruits (gooseberry, apricot) with nuances of rhubarb and strawberry, honey candy, green malt and a little shortbread. An idea of peanuts and a salt and caramel coating. Hints of granary, linen sacks and Even olive oil. Subtle earthiness and even a touch of damp moss and mushrooms. Really crazy and again very individual with subtly accentuated oiliness and sweetness. Nothing really superficial. Everything very interwoven and subtle. At the same time, very individual and unique combination of aromas! Really exciting to fathom. ..
