    Great, versatile and impressive nose.
Doesn't fall off in taste but rather brings the nose very lively to the palate. At the age of 12, I would not have expected this. Class malt.

The first impression is more than promising. Fresh wood, some old musty wood, tobacco. Seems rather dignified and settled. But there is also a recurring fresh mint. Spices of cinnamon, pepper and marzipan gradually emerge. There are some fruity orange peels, overripe plums and bananas. But very subtle. The malt is not really at home on the fruity side. In return, vanilla and some butterscotch bring a nice light sweetness that goes well with the wood and the fresh-looking mint. Also has something of tobacco. In the background there is some chocolate and slightly bitter coffee. Later more and more honey and something lightly perfumed.
Great, a lot going on in the glass!

Looks creamy, soft and slightly oily. Only a little later a nice full spiciness that also brings some sharpness. But rather pleasantly sparkling. Dark dried fruits are a bit more present here. Sweet caramel and again that impression of vanilla tobacco. Wood notes emerge and are slightly bitter with espresso and chocolate.
But somehow this bitterness goes well with the rest. Everything seems very harmonious.

Medium-length finish, becoming a bit dry. But still creamy, chocolaty with malt. The malt ends with a little more oak spice.
