Phenomenal bourbon single cask bottling with a wonderful, velvety, fruit-filled, noble tannin structure. Perfect balance and harmony between wood and distillery character. A classic, delicate, even prancing Glen Grant in the best sense of the word. Absolutely fantastic!

Very complex, the longer in the glass (1-2 hours), the more delicate. Yellow and citrus fruity: orange, orange peel, blood orange, tangerine, kumquat, kumquat jam, physalis, lemon, reindeer, some pear, medlar, red apple, some honeydew melon over time. Mirabelle, Reneklode. In addition: milk chocolate, nougat praline, vanilla, cookie dough, oat biscuit (SPLIT ice cream, Ballisto), a little sawdust & cinnamon. Oriental spices. Saffron, curry powder association. Concentrated spicy notes, which lie below, in the direction of boiled down vegetable broth, balsamic reduction. Forest honey. Great nose. Wood and spices are wonderfully balanced with the fruitiness. A few drops of water intensify the fruity moments.

Broad, velvety, great mouthfeel with that light but noticeable Glen Grant typical dryness. Delicate and delicious. Noble tannin structure. Fruity. Preserved fruit. Intense orange and citrus aromas. Orange peel. Lemon peel. Kumquat bowl. Apple. Pear. Reneklode here too. With cookie dough and chocolate. A bit of bitterness, but always on the delicate side. Vanilla. Oatcake. Jaffa cake. Again moments of concentrated spiciness (vegetable broth, meat broth). Everything is balanced by the delicious fruit notes. The wood holds back elegantly, but gives backbone and structure. A few drops of water intensify the delicate dryness, the tannin moments are emphasized.

Long finish. The delicious bitterness of orange peel or kumquat remains, even after several hours. There is also a certain bitter dryness, similar to very dark chocolate.
