  1. Malthead19 scored this whisky 75 points Connoisseur

    COLOR: Gold (without dye)

    - not a bad German whisky
    - well drinkable, soft and aromatic but unfortunately for me
    not very convincing for the price of 55 €
    - also from this special or special combination
    I expected more from the barrel selection
    - either bad casks or bottled way too early
    - therefore for me at 55 € a proud price and for them
    quality too expensive
    • Nose
      pleasant fruity-malty first impression, apricot, mirabelle plum, some grain
    • Taste
      strong, spicy but at the same time very malty, soft attack, develops a very strong volume in the mouth, unfortunately less fruit aromas than hoped, clear dominance of spice, oak, malt
    • Finish
      medium length finish ;
      long, very astringent, spicy aftertaste,
      stays in the mouth for a long time
