    Very expressive nose on a fine peat that the dilution makes even more out, tea, a strawberry malabar side, lemon confit fairly clean and nothing rubber and dried fruits (hazelnut, almond) and iodine . Alcohol is perfectly integrated. The whole is sweet and is quite hypnotic.
    Attack gently tingling, almost bubbly, in an explosion of aromas: first a floral aspect / white fruits then quickly a big splash of black tea and black pepper, suggestion of clove. The 50 ° are unsuspected.
    The very long finish lets the peat / rubbery side speak, before weakening in the flavors of molasses rum.
    Complex and delicious. Pretty enjoyable but more cerebral and less bestial than the old Brora OB, a different style!

    Super whisky.
    • Nose
      Propre. Sel et iode, marin, du goudron, un peu médicinal. Quelle
      complexité! puis à l'aération le sherry arrive : notes vineuses,
      orange confite, cuir.
    • Taste
      Ouah ! Sherry, amandes, un peu de savon. C'est puissant, ample. Une tourbe grasse, et un léger côté médicinal
    • Finish
      Extrêmement longue. On retrouve le sherry et la tourbe, mais aussi de la fumée, du poivre...

    An excellent whisky, well balanced, complex, but lacking a little fishing at the crucial moment to move to the exceptional.
    • Nose
      We start on beautiful notes meaty, smoked, peaty. We then go on notes of lemon confit, oyster, seaweed.
      It is very iodized, very maritime. A chiselled smell of hazelnuts and roasted almonds, roasted.
      A little white pepper , orange liquor . It is very complex and the alcohol is very well integrated.
      At the end of the nose, I find some notes of olive oil (quite surprising).
    • Taste
      We find the maritime side, smoke, pepper and seaweed.
      There are also very sweet notes of nougatine or frangipane.
      It is well balanced, lacking only this small pep, which is perhaps due to the reduction to 50%.
      A slight woody bitterness at the end of the mouth.
    • Finish
      Long, on roasted almond, smoke, bitter orange.

    Terrible. There is no other word.
    • Nose
      Peaty, sherry, but neither peat monster, nor sherry monster. Powerful, complex, marine, with polish, turpentine, a medicinal aspect (a little camphor?) Mixed with red / black fruits (blueberries, cherries) and dry, vinous notes, pepper, old leather, a hint of rubber, and the peat that supports the whole without denaturing it. Fab!
    • Taste
      Wowowow ?! Powerful from the attack, fat, she speaks about bitter oranges, sherry. The medicinal and marine notes are not left out, as well as the pepper already present on the nose which is accompanied here by clove. The peat is perfectly melted to the other flavors.
    • Finish
      Long, moderately peaty it leaves on the palate the fresh and spicy taste of cloves.
