Tasted in CS version (63.9%) from the same barrel

Boudiou that was good. A pep not to be put between all the taste buds for sure, made for lovers of chilli and sweet and exotic sweets ... It may lack a little subtlety and complexity to climb summits, but it gives want to explore more of this Swiss distillery! A very original 88 that convinces me a lot!
    • Nose
It starts off rather oddly, very aggressive with an ultra pronounced vanilla, and a completely crushing rum finish: blindly on the nose I would not have said a whisky so much the sugar cane stands out. We also have a very buttery and vegetal side, with liquorice and anise.
It needs to open up. A saline hint and some petrochemical notes (gasoline, acetone) make their entry, gradually replaced with an extended opening by a basket of exotic fruits (lots of very acidic passion juice, pineapple and coconut bounty mode or rafaello).
We feel it needed time to open up, but it was worth the wait! Everything is stabilized with sugar cane coated with milk chocolate, coconut, honey and cereals (kinder country style), sprinkled with passion-pineapple-lemon juice. It started out strange but it now smells very, very good!
    • Taste
Rah yeah it's good and it has potato! We have a chilli wave that overhangs bounty, kinder country and exotic fruits (the same as on the nose). The sugar cane and vanilla are still there but more discreet, like a syrup on top, with a hint of honey and liquorice.
    • Finish
Medium, in the continuity of the mouth, with a very long persistence of the trio of milk chocolate - honeyed cereals - pina colada.

The water brings out flambéed bananas and chili peppers on the nose, while highlighting the cereals. It becomes really very greedy. In the mouth it soothes it a little but does not add anything new. The chilli is still present, and the notes are just less clear, in short if it swims well for someone who would find it too aggressive pure, I personally prefer it without water.
