  1. Kantenmechaniker scored this whisky 91 points Connoisseur

Laddie and wine barrel often work very well for me. Here too. A very good choice. Above all, the finish is fun because a lot happens for a long time.
    • Nose
The wine barrel immediately comes across well, sour cherry, slightly nutty, I mean to smell a bit of sulfur, but I like that and really look for it, nice intensity, but very smooth, the laddie character comes through the wine barrel, something Caramel, tart, slightly dirty, but not really tangible, just as an impression, could easily go towards tobacco, after a while a little chocolate is added, nice
    • Taste
wow, that's how it should taste, a lot of dark chocolate, definitely also sulfur, but subtle and more associated with the sour red fruit, roasted aromas, slightly nutty, hazelnut slices, great mouthfeel, cherry, salt, not all that sweet, rather creamy and sour / nutty
    • Finish
from the back it gives it another step on the gas, drier, more intense, the mouth is full of aromas, bitter, nut, still roasted aromas, tingles as if you had fruit soda in your mouth, still sets accents, ends very pleasantly
