Solid, but doesn’t knock you out of the water. Tastes like American oak.

very sweet vanilla with sweetened jelly candies and light oak, caramel, honey, pineapple and lime, banana, over time the oak becomes more spicy, orange, cinnamon, apple, apricot, a touch of dark chocolate with hazelnut and raisins, lots of ripe fruits, the sherry shows up only subtly
    • Taste
      87 87
velvety spice with aromatic oak and vanilla, caramel and dark chocolate, here the sherry comes out a little more, hints of raisins and prunes, banana, almonds and some walnuts, slightly oily and salty with a bit of leather, clove, honey and apple, orange , Nutmeg and traces of cinnamon
    • Finish
      86 86
warming, chocolaty dry oak with fine spices, blanched almonds, vanilla and caramel, hints of prune, ripe orange and apricot, slightly earthy with cocoa and a dollop of honey

It's pretty good. Not as good as I imagine with the data, however. It doesn't have enough volume in the mouth for that and the finish is relatively flat.
    • Nose
Pretty cute. Quittengelee. Baked apple. Nashi pear. A bit of citrus is also involved. Some flower meadow. Bergamot. Then comes the wood. Tree sap, but also now and then rather dusty wood. There is also a certain fresh and cooling-looking note in it. I'll say lemon balm.
    • Taste
Relatively creamy. Caramel and Ahron Syrup. Apricot. Sea buckthorn. But then the seasoning also sets in. In addition, a nice tingling sensation, which I usually have at Arrans and which I like. More peppery here, but not unpleasant for me.
    • Finish
Apricot peel. Chocolate. Sour, slightly bitter wood tones. Pretty dry.
