Tasted this whisky h2h with the Secret Speyside 1993 (WB 160638). Yes they are different but how to express the small differences?

Both are secret Speysiders but which distillery? In case of Sherry and Speyside you might think Glenfarclas, but to me this is not a Farclas. Also no Glenallachie or Glendronach; on the other hand I might be completely wrong of course.

Not a surprise that this has a full blown sherry nose. But quite fresher than its sister 160638. Overripe fruit and raisins.
    • Taste
      88 88
The color is less dark than its sister. Full body, but softer than it's sister. No water required although I added a few drops in the end; but this did not change things that much. Quite an odd taste. Odd does not mean bad, as this is a pretty enjoyable dram. Taste reminds me of whiskies I tasted before, but no idea which distillery.
    • Finish
      88 88
Medium long finish. Not so much difference of flavors in the finish compared to the taste.

Conclusion: yes a sherry bomb, but different from others and a damn good one.
