An undifferentiated 90? No, that would be too easy and too plain for me personally.
He's not a revelation, but enjoy him with a dark chocolate - I prefer 65-70% - and with the addition of water (worth playing with) and you'll have a magical evening with him
    • Nose
      85 85
A sherry nose, yes, but alcoholic and with a clear hint of sour grapes that don't necessarily fade into the background with the addition of water. Acid like from a lemon zest cut too far into the white flesh. Sour and tart with an undertone of caramel
    • Taste
      87 87
A spicy-peppery start fills the whole mouth, at cask strength it is too aggressive for me and leaves behind the lemony tartness, which becomes much more pleasant and cask-spicy with the addition of water.
    • Finish
      88 88
Medium-length, spicy-tart finish. Not bad but with chocolate: the hit
