A great and (for me) unusual bottling. Complex and complex, fruity and sweet, dark and tart. I have never had such an unusual combination of flavors in my glass. Especially the recurring subtle smoky notes give the Dalmore in combination with sweet, dried, dark fruit flavors a special character. Unusual, but saulecker!

    • Nose
Light brown and amber colors of the Dalmore from the Premium Snifter, already impress me the many glued to the glass wall "legs" ;-), the Nosing can begin. Hazelnuts and subtle roasted aromas stand out of the glass, sweet berries and grapes join. Creamy caramel and toffee blend with slightly sourish fruit flavors, while grassy and floral elements stand out. The echoes of butter cake and biscuits are relatively quickly dimmed by grassy flowers, and at the same time toasted aromas and candied apples. At least I perceive roasted almonds and a few drops of cognac. Either my nose is crazy or this nose is extremely varied and complex ...
    • Taste
Grasig flows the first sip through the palate, spicy woody effects and dried berries end dry and dry. At first, I'm overwhelmed by the unfamiliar and difficult to define aroma combination. I just try to write down my impressions: dark, partly tart fruity aromas, dark hazelnuts and walnuts, slightly smoky, spicy and tart woody effects, burnt caramel, creamy toffee, a hint of fresh mint, creamy and heavy, dried berries and grapes, sweet and tangy at the same time , voluminous and powerful, again slightly smoky and burnt, dark and tart and yet fresh and creamy ....
    • Finish
The heavy and dark fruit flavors are still sticking to the palate, woolly warmth descends into the stomach, dark walnuts and wet leaves spread their pleasant tart aroma on the palate. Creamy wood and fruit elements swim under the tongue before the Dalmore warms up slowly with walnuts and a fine hint of peppermint.
