- ordered it in a bar in Sibiu, just for fun and for old times sake. nothing Special, Bourbon which is best with coke
- Nosing: You immediately smell the bourbon, fresh, perfume, fruity sweetness
Tasting: Reminiscent of syrup, harsh
With water: more intense with perfume and sweet children's gum
Comment: "Old Fashioned" Bourbon - more suitable for mixing
- For mixing, eg best suited for cocktails.
Sweet - after vanilla, malt and fruit, but also woody with spices. Above all, he seems very immature.
Again, the immature shows - pure actually barely edible, an ice cube creates a remedy. Quite strong, probably a slightly higher rye content was used here. A fruity sweetness shines through - sweetness of maize and malt are also to be found - dry, spicy oak wood now comes to light.
Long, quite dry, slightly sour, spicy and full of wood.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
nose is quite sweet and crisp. There are notes of marmalade and zesty
citrus, cereal sweetness, a touch of toffee and a lovely caramel note.
The palate is well-balanced and smooth. There are notes of zesty citrus
and manuka honey, plenty of cereal sweetness and winter spice, a hint of
lemonade and a little toasty oak. The finish is of medium-length with
lovely oaken sweetness.
- Aroma: sweet, fruity, vanilla, oak, caramel
