  1. Juergen Willi scored this whisky 86 points Expert Senior

A decent dram . For 50€ you get a single cask bottling, matured for 10 years in a refill sherry but, with 46% ABV and natural colour. It`s not very complex, but easy to drink.
Careful with adding water. It drowns easily. I prefer it neat.
    • Nose
Typical aromas for this maturation: dark fruits (plum, dates, raspberry), spices, honey, caramel. Sweet, earthy, and quite heavy.
    • Taste
Sherry, dried fruits, red berries, chocolate, burnt brown sugar, orange. very smooth and creamy on the tongue. very drinkable. I cannot detect the alcohol. that`s dangerous.
    • Finish
roasted barley, burnt brown sugar, red berries, a hint of oak wood and black pepper.
