This one is kind of an old-ardbegian style, executed in a perfect way, everything is powerful, complex and perfectly integrated.
To be honest, it’s the best whisky I tasted (if you except some old legend bottle) , it’s just amazing !

      That’s a really good nose ...
You have smoke, lemon, a bit of peat, iodine, everything is perfectly balanced and sharp and also powerful !
Alcohol integration is top notch, you can stick you nose in it as long as you want.
    • Taste

      Well well ...
What the **** am I drinking ?! It reminds me of a 1973 Ardbeg Sestante import that was astonishing ! Here of course you don’t have the waxy side witch cone with bottle aging but come on, you have all the rest !

Bam ! The aromas are super powerful. Texture is oily, covering gently your mouth and palate, alcohol is PERFECTLY integrated, now that you mouth is covered by this texture you have the explosion of aromas ... powerful and delicate in the same time , sharp, dry.
Iodine , lemon-y smoke, gentle aerial peat, lemon zest, shellfish. There is a nice continuity with the nose.
      That’s really complex and beautiful.
Everything is perfect, just perfect ...
    • Finish

      Long, really really long !
Here you have a load of lemon-y smoke, a bit of aerial peat. It stays a while, the peat and a big part of the smoke disappears and only remains lemon and a little bit of gentle smoke, hmm delicious.
Well this seems to stay forever.

Boys that’s some serious stuff here, really.
Pay attention to one thing, every other dram I use to love that I drinked in face to face with this beast just got blowed away :P

Thank’s for this Le Gus’t , that’s some rare level in here. Really happy to have tested this !
