  1. AdelphosHume scored this whisky 75 points Expert Senior

It's youthful, it's not very complex, but it isn't terrible. The nose is inviting, and there is a decent mouth coating dynamic as well. The taste is a little unbalanced, but not off-putting. It becomes a bit less disjointed and takes on a more perfumed taste with time. I had a sample of this a few months back from a bottle that had been open for a month and was down to it's last legs, and it was potently, off-puttingly sweet. So, it seems to work well if you finish it within a few few weeks.
    • Nose
Malt and spun sugar, ripe white fruits (apples and peaches), green wood and menthol, a touch of new-make with sweet and sour cherries.
    • Taste
Sweet mouth-coating malt with a soft white-pepper bitterness, cinnamon candy (red hots) that builds to an alcohol burn.
    • Finish
Fades to a faint pepper, licorice pastel, and wood tannin combination.
