    It shows just a bit
too much tannins to be really lovely. A slightly higher ABV might also have
    been desirable.
    • Nose
      The nose shows nice
sherry elements like marzipan, raisins, gingerbread and hints of coffee. A lot
of oranges as well. Make that orangettes. From the spice rack, I remember
      ginger and nutmeg.
    • Taste
      It
is soft and even somewhat watery in the mouth. Spicy, true. The fruit is somewhat weaker than on
      the nose. Slightly drying oak,
as well. A touch of smoke makes up for a lot.
    • Finish
      The finish is sweet,
spicy and drying. Maybe even a tad too drying.
