An unusual and atypical Glenfarclas. Not bad, but somehow takes some getting used to (especially in the nose). The creamy nut notes of the aftertaste still stick to the palate and on the tongue, subtle freshness is added and yet this bottling has that "certain something" and calls for another sip from the almost empty glass ...

    • Nose
Light caramel shines in the Premium Snifter, roasted aromas and fermented fruits rise, toffee with hints of grapefruit and figs. There is an unusual spice note in the air, lavender and other floral elements, the nose seems somehow perfumed and unbalanced. In addition, the alcohol gradually becomes noticeable, fennel and sweet floral notes, oranges and nuts, the nose is really strange and strange.
    • Taste
The first sip flows sweet and fruity through the palate, sugar and yellow fruits play with each other, subtle spiciness tickles the tongue, again slightly grassy and floral elements emerge. Toffee and raisins, a pinch of cinnamon and vanilla, green apple and a hint of banana. The intensity of the heat increases, grapefruit and other citrus fruits are added, forest honey and meadow herbs, paired with spicy and sometimes dry wood tones. The next sip flows sweetly through the mouth, spiciness comes up again, spices and herbs stick to the palate, caramel and apple, grapefruit and mentholic freshness.
    • Finish
Fresh menthol and abrasion of tart grapefruit pass through the palate, minimal heat accumulates in the stimulated saliva, hazelnuts and yellow fruits exude their intense aroma, spices and herbs dominate the aftertaste with mint and citrus fruits.
