Mild 63.4% finely bedded in hay. A grounding haven of calm and the perfect end to a tasting that whets the appetite for the next tasting.
    • Nose
First something musty .... which I associate directly with a wet cellar. schomma cool. Nice herbs, but HIgh Octane doesn't sting your nose. After musty come herbs. Dry wood and wood glue, mint, musty, then herbs, then something sticky and sweet .. then wood. He's got something unpleasant in his nose ... Musty cellar with mice ... Clay, decaying pine, blood, plastic, chestnuts. With a little water it becomes more grainy, and it smells like rusks or crispbread. Limes, rust dust, sage, a little lemon mint, fennel, liquorice, after rusks and crispbread now dark bread crust., A little lavender, but without an unpleasant soapy note
    • Taste
The taste is great ... sometimes washed around in the mouth, a lot of OBF is mixed with a lot of pear. It tastes really nice and old, heavy, and the high percentages are felt in the mouth ZERO. That's exactly my thing. Peach, gooseberry (sweet), OBF, pepper, the palate tops the nose, really fat in the mouth! What a taste bomb ... full old OBF board with a very clear Spey pear, hay. The 63.4% is there, but not brutal, but nicely spicy and it can drain water. With a few drops of water it becomes even better and more differentiated for me, wax, beautifully floral.
    • Finish
Spicy, dry, peacefully long .... more peaceful than the% te say. Long, juicy, but becoming drier, full in the mouth. Legga. Forever, with pears on a bed of herbs and hay vinaigrette, all on an old oak plate.
