  1. D3US scored this whisky 83 points Expert Senior

From a town on Skye, this is, not surprisingly, much like Talisker. However, I miss that familiar dynamite peppery kick to it that Talisker has. Still, this is not a bad dram at all.
    • Nose
Fruity and fresh with subtle peaty smoke in the back. Honey sweetness and malt with spice. Vanilla and a pastry note.
    • Taste
Great sweetness. Big oak influence now and a metallic feel to it. Oily on the tongue and heavier smoke now. Spices combined with sweetness of cake and pastry with fresh fruit.
    • Finish
Long and warming. Oak and vanilla sweetness, the spices carry off the smoke to an enjoyable finish.
