  1. grinface Plus scored this whisky 90 points Connoisseur

Not too complex, but still with sufficient depth. You have to like the intense bitterness in the finish. Overall, this could also be medicine. If I could wish for something - and that's whining at a very high level - it would be a little more "gas station", as I always call it.

    • Nose
      91 91
Intense green notes. apple, hay, grass, leaves. In between cooking oil, roots and fruit tea. Citrus notes, apricot, malt and honey. A certain sharpness comes up with intensive nosing. When that settles down again, then it goes into resins and waxes and other things from the hobby workshop.
    • Taste
      89 89
Spicy and earthy and again very intense. Honey notes are added. Just like lemon, with appropriate wax and oil. Also liquorice and ginger.
    • Finish
      90 90
An interplay of bitter notes and the already familiar aromas. The honey comes back and is replaced by bitter substances. And so it goes on with wax, the herbal notes and the fruits.
