The nose is characterized by a wonderful combination of mineral smoke and sweet fruit flavors and whets the appetite for more. In terms of taste, this filling will disappoint me a little, unfortunately there are no more sweet fruit flavors of the nose. Slowly I get used to the dark aromas and slowly find pleasure in this malt. A fierce, smoky entry into this year's Advent calendar ....
    • Nose
Soft pink shimmers in the malt, while powerful sweet smoke rises from the Premium Snifter, oily "legs" stick to the glass wall and flow back into the glass relatively quickly. Dominant dissolve mineral smoke and peat from a sweet fruit note, caramelized sugar and a hint of vanilla show up. Minimal come grapes, cherries and strawberries to advantage, the gentle smoke but almost all other flavors. The nose is slightly greasy and oily, now comes the sweet fruit note again powerful. Ash, embers, minimally burned wood, smoke and beguiling sweetness invite you to the first sip.
    • Taste
Powerful and subtly bitter heavy smoke hits the tongue. Tart fruit flavors play with bitter wood effects, cold smoke is supported by a strong alcohol content, the first impression is dark and gloomy. At the second sip then caramelized sugar, red berries, sour cherries and heavy smoke come to bear and immediately stimulate the salivation. A pinch of cinnamon sticks to the palate, walnuts release grapes and berries, caramel and dark wood tones dominate the taste at the moment.
    • Finish
The dark wood tones on the palate are tart and discreetly bitter, smoke and peat entwine dark fruits, old walnuts swim in the saliva under the tongue. For a long time, the gloomy and austere overall impression will be remembered.
