Young tomatin is not a masterpiece. I am inclined to believe that interesting whisky of this distillery can only be age-related, perhaps a little experience)

Fruit, chocolate notes. It is necessary to give a little breath because at first it is alcoholic. Feels expensive enough malt
    • Taste

The high degree is felt. The taste is rounded, slightly oily. Sun-dried fruits, citrus notes. Not bad. I think if we let it breathe a little longer, then we can say that it’s a drink.
    • Finish
      85 85
Finish is of medium duration. At first it envelops, then it suffers. Peppermint, some pepper, candied fruit

In general, I like double helmets, I'm not particularly familiar with Tomatin, let's see ...

You need to wait a little for the aroma to open up, bright, rich, but at the same time soft, delicate. It so happened to combine the two types of barrels, but obviously the bourbon percentage is higher. Here we also have notes of honey, meadow flowers, raw wood, berry motifs. Very drinkable for its degrees. I think he would add a little aging, remove the roughness in the taste, plus a little more the percentage of good sherry barrels, it would be a near masterpiece.

Aromatic flour with wine notes? Is it so fuzzy with vanilla FF bourbon plays? Candy, vanilla, spices… chocolate with wild herbs. (21)
    • Taste
Young, immature… tartaric acid, spice. (20)
    • Finish
Wine finish, sour, herbal bitterness, wood (20)

A nice, rounded whisky; both sweet and dry. Delicious
