- Some really nice sherry thank influence but where is the destillate in here? Full review in German: https://keinehalbendrinks.de/2019/09/03/ein-volljaehriger-dalmore/
Drinkable. Red berries, cherry, chocolate. Creamy honey, candy.
Again red berries. Tea, chocolate, coffee.
Shelf, red fruit, espresso. Sweet and tasty.
- I am honest and can say that I expected more of this dram. It is not bad but for 90€ you get much better whiskies today. I cannot recommend the Dalmore 18 to be fair!
Fresh & Fruity, the alcohol is too dominant from my point of view. I smell peaches & oranges
Due to the strong alcohol smell I did not expect a smooth taste but it is there - additionally I get cinnamon and raisins in the mouth. A bit like Christmas time...
The finish is smooth but extremely short and nothing special to tell about it.
- Colour: Old gold-amber.
Nose: Fresh, fruity, mellow, on almonds, tangerine, with some
peach and winey flavours, with a hint of smoke.
Taste: Spicy, peppery, round, slightly rubbery and winey, on
tangerine, red fruits and some smoke. The finish is of medium length, round,
slightly bitter, rubbery and winey, on tangerine and some cinnamon powder.
General Impression: A good and pleasant Dalmore, but it would
benefit from a few extra % abv.
