An incredibly gorgeous Springbank! I love the combination of creamy sweet, the wonderful fruit note and the partly dark and earthy elements! Gorgeous, just gorgeous!

    • Nose
Reddish caramel shimmers with an orange glow in the glass. From the streaks sticking to the glass wall of my Premium Snifter dissolve and long drops, even visually, this Springbank is a real treat. Sweet caramel and toffee come together on the first nosing with tangerines and subtle roasted aromas, white and red grapes exude their lovely aroma while apricots and peaches slowly come into their own. The nose is incredibly mild and fruity, maybe even a bit too one-dimensional and too soft ... Sugary with plums and vineyard peach umwned the Springbank's nose, minimal show citrus aromas and sour fruit notes, hints of milk chocolate, now and then shows the nose from its floral and almost mineral and earthy side. The alcohol is wonderfully involved, slowly the salivation is stimulated, I look forward to the first sip.
    • Taste
Creamy and velvety, the first sip flows over the tongue and flatters the palate. Sweet berry flavor plays with caramelized sugar and toffee, dried raisins stick with cedar wood on the palate, slowly creates pleasant sharpness, soothing warmth rises. Slightly musty and decayed earth tones alternate with lemons and grapefruit, an incredible sweetness and voluminous fruit cloud blends in wonderfully with the sour citrus fruits and the tart, spicy wood elements. Minimal leather and tobacco, the mouthfeel is extremely creamy, the saliva is stimulated every minute. Smoke? ... I think I notice a really subtle smoke. I stop for a moment, close my eyes and just enjoy this wonderful drop ....
Chubby warmth floods the entire mouth area, the mouthfeel is just incredibly creamy and fruity sweet!
    • Finish
The wonderful aromas of the taste are still resting on the palate, the chubby heat slowly fades away. The creamy and sweet mouthfeel awakens the feeling as if it never ends. Voluminous, the sweet fruit aromas with their acidic citrus notes for a felt eternity in memory, with earth tones and walnuts, the Springbank then unfortunately but at some point from ...
