A good fat young Islay? wish. If the first nose is really extreme, the aeration allows him to find his balance, for who loves peat of course. Alcohol is well integrated for who is accustomed? to CS, but it is even better with a little water. At this price, I want more.
    • Nose
Lovers of delicate whiskys, go your way. This young monster is not for you. Many, but then a lot of peat. And no dry peat, no, the most oily, phoenic, bituminous. Imagine yourself on a road in the Valley of Death? noon, solar time, a summer solstice. Asphalt melts; the tires with. And here is the dashboard starting? stick, letting go of molten plastic filaments from your fingers. Imagine the smell. That's it, you are there. But it would not do him justice to stop there. First because the lemon goes with its acidulous touch. Then because a more mediocidal than marine iodine (more on the Bastadine than on the oysters, in clear) complicates the whole. Finally, because the ceremony will, by an extraordinary sleight of hand, strongly squeeze and tame this peat. Watch out, she still bites all the same, unlike? alcohol that is very well integrated. With water ?: notes of Schweppes Indian Tonic and blond tobacco.
    • Taste
Greasy and powerful, yet round, it plays on the contrasts between the earthy flavor of the peat of Lagavulin, the bitterness of the tincture of iodine and the sweetness. acidulous? of lemon candy. The middle of the mouth sees the victory of the earth, with bitter arches of gentian, liquorice and cinchona. With water ?: same type of profile, with even more bitterness at the end of the mouth / finale. Be honest easy drinkable.
    • Finish
Long, it extends the mouth on the earthy peat, the smoke, the slice and a touch of lemon.
