The nose is extremely varied and multi-layered, the taste and in the end dominate musty woody notes with a dominant spice mixture and a refreshing pinch of menthol and old peppermint. A great filling with a distinctive character, I like it very much!

    • Nose
Brilliant amber shines in the Premium Snifter, on the glass wall sticks an oily and tough streak. Timidly dissolve hints of creamy vineyard peach and old apricots, abrasion of dried orange peel trickles in tangerine juice, caramelized sugar comes up. Creamy hazelnuts rise, tough wall honey combines with a freshly scraped-out vanilla, gradually a fresh pinch of the ever fruity nose, peppermint and hints of menthol make themselves felt. After a few moments, the nose shows another facet. Slightly musty are decayed wood tones to the best, minimal shows a hint of sulfur. Mint flashes, raisins and dried fruit gradually push into the foreground. Sugar plays with dark and dried fruit flavors, minimal show herbs and a hint of dried thyme. The nose is extremely complex and varied. My salivation begins, I look forward to the first sip ...
    • Taste
Fruity with a wonderfully creamy wood note, the first sip flows over the tongue, dried berries stick with spicy wood tones on the tongue. Subtle sharpness sets in and tickles lightly on the tongue and between the lips, the steamed wood sharpness comes suddenly black pepper, slightly musty and rotten wooden elements float in the saliva under the tongue. The wood tones are tart and schaler, a touch of grapefruit combines with zests of oranges and an emerging spice and herbal notes. Sweet, the second sip flows through the throat, again show dark and dried fruit flavors coupled with flaring sharpness in the form of white pepper and dark, tart wood tones. Mentholische freshness sticks in the throat while warmth intensively warms the palate and muffige wood tones again in subtle sharpness end. Forest honey, oranges and apricots come on, in the background is a slightly rancid and old nut notes. Hazelnuts transform into old walnuts, the freshness of the menthol becomes more intense and refreshes the palate. Again shows an intense spice and herbal note, then blurred the flavors and go slightly flat in the finish.
    • Finish
Mossy, slightly rancid wood tones stick to the tongue, gradually the fresh elements return, as well as dried meadow herbs and a hint of hazelnut and grapefruit. The aftertaste is a steady "up" and "down", sometimes dominate tart and rancid wood notes, shortly thereafter dried fruit and menthol freshness. Sharpness flares up for the last time, then the aftertaste sounds subtly musty and creamy woody tones paired with a spicy herbal note. Old walnuts remain with rancid hazelnuts a felt eternity in memory.
