  1. Ostap scored this whisky 84 points Connoisseur

The interesting side of this whiskey is the aroma. A good game of components, like pulling a rope, where the winner will not be determined. Then everything is much easier, especially sags in the aftertaste.
    • Nose
      88 88
Immediately a struggle of opposites, the bright sweetness of Glenrothes against the smoky Ardbeg. Fresh and mineral, candied fruits, fresh grass, sulfur, perfume, dates, prunes, sweet peat, citrus, condensed milk, smoked fish, peanuts in glaze, white grapes and tart sour berries, sweet gum, beer notes, grated turnip with honey.
    • Taste
      84 84
Pepper, a little ash, dry, with meat, neutral sweet, oak, citrus, jasmine.
    • Finish
      80 80
Dry, pepper, metal oyster, short and empty, green tea with jasmine, bitter and burning.
