  1. Archer scored this whisky 87 points Connoisseur

In the nose, he makes a nice move to a beautiful swan. The influence of the red wine barrel is noticeable. And if that's what ensures that the Bruichladdich dishcloth stays in the cupboard and the baby puke stays in the baby, then congratulations on the barrel selection.
The departure should have been longer, however.
    • Nose
      88 88
Undiluted, it gives little flavors ...
He then awakens with four drops on 2cl. Red grapes, easily fermented. Malt beer and fresh bread dough. Almonds. At the beginning, a little alcohol was still noticeable, but after a short life, this impression is in the truest sense of the word: gone. Initially only hinted, after a while, the red grapes are strongly present and flavor dominating. Foul wood works its way forward, spices (thyme, rosemary, juniper berries) mix with it. Fascinating how it turns up at the beginning hardly existing nose.

Red grapes, redcurrants, blackberries - a very berry-fruited onset. As expected strong on the tongue, but also virtually undiluted (in four drops you can not really speak of a dilution), he is not too strong, but clothes the mouth only in comforting warmth.
Leather and tobacco aromas, almonds, yeast dough and even at the beginning with a certain pepper sharpness. The red wine barrel also dominates on the tongue. Less spicy than in the nose, but the pepper is probably too generous doses.
    • Finish
      85 85
Medium to short, hardly dry. The grapes and berries subsided, vanilla shows up at the end, as well as a portion of menthol.
