    Batch 4 (Bottled 2017)

N- Aromatic mixed summer fruits and vanilla tart, spicy nutmeg and oak fragrant linger in the middle with chocolate underlay. Rich and evolving well to Demarara, dried ginger, dried fruits and various spices. Whiff of unoffensive wood shave, solvent and sulphur with leafy notes that blended well with the overall expression. Upfront, charming, vibrant and joyful, befitted the name brilliance. (89/22)

P- Full, balance of ripe fruit and spice with good abv at spine. Vanilla, maple, wood, liquorice candy comes is harmony. (87/21)

F- Medium, with long lasting toasted nuance rising gently. Creamy fine oak mouth coating that hold on well with frizzy cream soda and popping candy. (87/21)

Body/Balance- 92/23 A remarkable improvement compared to previous batches. Full and upfront, rounded without compromise. Just hard to pick fault at this one.

Very pleasant, sweet and tasty whisky. My expectations were paid off.
Highly recommended for those who likes soft and sweet whisky.

Very fruity, with notes of apples, pears, apricots and sweet cherries. Elements of malt are smooth but reach and valuable. Tiny signs of new wood and vanilla (thanking to bourbon casks). Finally wrapped with sweet sugar and honey tones.

Carnival of sweetness. Rich palette of fruits like apples, pears, different berries. Sweet malt. Taste is pleasant and delicate.

Cotton candy. Red apples. Honey and baking products. Then warming and a little bit spicy waves come. At the end sweet malty tones are left. Finish is stable but not so complex.
Empty dram keep flavor of new wood and apple jam.

A wonderful fruit bomb with the typical bourbon barrel notes. I would not have expected an Indian whisky here, but a pretty good Highland Single Malt.

A wonderful, strong and voluminous fruit note, a whole basket full of yellow, sweet fruits with a slightly exotic floral note. Add to that honey and vanilla, just like a nice fruit salad.
In the background, after some time, a very light spice and something dry-dusty, such as cardboard boxes.
The alcohol stays discreetly in the background, only noticeable by a slightly cooling note.
    • Taste
      85 85
Strong onset, ginger-tingling, but unfortunately significantly less volume than expected; sweet and creamy milk chocolate and a nice spice, maybe even some salt, no bitterness.
    • Finish
      83 83
The medium-long finish leaves the creamy milk chocolate and still a subtle tart tingling. Overall, the departure unfortunately falls slightly off the smell and taste.
