    Bindverkostung:

CS with 50 +%, refill exBourboncask - then it will be difficult :: ~ 20 + yo, could be a HP, Bunna or Speysider - on the palate he likes me much better than in the nose - I suspect that he is more barrel-driven and by the distillery is no longer so much to find.

He is delicious in any case - Thanks for the Dram @LDB
    • Nose
      87 87
delicate, fine, clean, looks filigree, sour, citrus zest, lemon with cream, Grapefriutschale, with a little water it is a little sweeter in the nose, vanilla, mint, toasted oak, biscuits
    • Taste
      90 90
Delicate light oak, spicy with beautiful oily syrupy texture, pleasant but distinct bittertones that give the wort even more volume, warms when chewing without burning, crystalline Zironenschale - lemon, cut flower stems, coated jasmine tea, sage, pepper, birch water, which is very long chewable - if sweetness and acidity fade creamy fresh sawn still "green" oak and spices - clearly noticeable pleasantly astringent tannins
    • Finish
      89 89
continues what happens on the palate - a lot of new things do not happen there - there might be a hint of ash in the rich light woody flavors - I'm not sure - the finish is definitely very long - it can not be left anymore

The intense fruitiness of this Glen Ord brings a great experience and
the alcohol is wonderfully integrated by careful maturation!
    • Nose
      89 89
Initially restrained, carefully warmed then lusciously juicy lemon and flower nectar, along with a fine spiciness of pomegranate, pomelo and lightly salted caramel
    • Taste
      90 90
Pomelo, lemon and elderflower jelly, sweet wood juice, mildly sour and slightly sweaty Ben Nevis note. Intense expression of a summer fresh fruit basket, the whole in perfect balance with the alcohol and neither too sweet nor too sour.
    • Finish
      88 88
Mature but light, tart finish with hints of elderflower juice.
