  1. LiquidThoughts scored this whisky 90 points Connoisseur

Quite stranger sherry malt, looks like you have taken an outdated and a very fresh sherry malt and divided it into small components and mixed them up in order. It's great, but too chaotic and bitter / chalky to start with.
    • Nose
Great, full plum rotting at first, darkest honey and toffee, buttery-fat but also eucalyptus and freshness, roiboos, fresh, red apple, camphor, saffron, cinnamon, baked apple, oak but in noble and reserved, pipe tobacco
    • Taste
Boah, pure espresso & oak cupboard at the start, where does that come from? Then very clear chalk notes, pencil lead, then he lies down nicely with baked apple, bitter orange, cumin, anise, saffron, eucalyptus, oiled leather, blood orange, tobacco
    • Finish
Surprisingly light and easy for the notes, blood orange, grapefruit, citrus peel and ginger, medium length
