    When I tried it, it had been a long time since the bottle was opened. Just represent some of the views of this tasting

      Smell I think the performance is very classic, very typical dark and spice flavor of O barrel, and clean flavor sense of robin; very ripe dark berries, blackcurrants, dark ripe nectarines, chocolate (The one with low purity will not be so strong), the sense of fermentation and stimulation brought by aldehydes, and the sense of alcohol are somewhat strong. I feel that the scent is complex and rich enough, with a slightly weaker openness and a bit more subtlety.

      Very strong spice flavor, cinnamon, dried longan, dried red dates, candied fruit, very sweet, pleasant enough but not greasy; if you drink more, you can gradually feel the flavor in this series, no Too many miscellaneous flavors are in the range close to the flavor wheel, which brings a good sense of balance and easy drinking, and of course it also makes people feel that it is a bit simple and not complicated; I think the performance of the wine body It is of a high enough standard, the completion is above the acceptable level, and the oily feeling is handled very well. After the alcohol is in the mouth, I think it is completely acceptable. The last thing to say is that after reading the comments of other lovers, I don't think it will be very spicy. Of course, it is not related to the time of opening the bottle, enough sobering, maybe it is.

      wow, very beautiful performance, strong enough, but not too heavy, so that the barrel flavor of this one is not very heavy, with good flavor performance, but not too much tannin performance , very good

    A little too much alcohol and lacking in complexity, but excellent.

      Nose of dried figs and dates, plums, a little cinnamon and white pepper, white chocolate with almonds, vanilla caramel.
    • Taste
      Mouth concentrated on woody spices. Lots of pepper. Syrup of figs and plums. A bit too much alcohol, it's a shame.
    • Finish
      Finish on fig and date liqueur, milk chocolate, caramelized leather.

    Creamy chocolate, cooked fruits, candied red fruits, bit herbal, the alcohol doesn’t seem very well integrated, bit disappointing

    The nose is shy, it is already expressed more after the first sips, but it remains measured.
    In the mouth, we are at Redbreast, no doubt, very close to the 21yo of the standard range but more malty and slightly more spicy. A little chocolate for the starter and the power comes slowly. The alcohol stings, but once the first contact with this chocolate / spice combo is made, the Irish character comes out well;
    I find exotic fruits there, not en masse but very present on the finish, this surprises me because it is something missing from the comments. Attention, it is not in the category of # 42972 for LMDW either.

    It is a well chosen cask where the CS takes on its full meaning unlike 3/4 of the CSs that come out nowadays; Compact and very greedy. At the opening of the bottle it is worth 91 without taking too much risk, it could evolve of course.
    After several weeks of aeration, I notice that the alcohol remains too strong, it definitely needs water.

    Nose: Butter and vanilla, banana, mango tart, toffee, dried apricots, cinnamon roll, Christmas cake. Pretty fatty.

    Palate: Almost the same, with extra peach, pepper, oak spice and cocoa, not as cocoa like as 1999 All Sherry though.

    Body: Thick and oily, still got a slight pot still sting at the backend.

    Finish: Medium length, lychee, vanilla, pepper.

    Not as comforting as All Sherry, definitely not as versatile as Dream Cask, quite like a cask strength RB 21yo but not as good, this so-called Oloroso Sherry, as a finished pot still whiskey, is slightly embarrassing and disappointing. LMDW once gave us the mighty 1991, too bad this is the best they can get, with only a year time later.

    Great range of flavors in the nose, on the tongue and in the finish. The redbreast DNA is clearly recognizable, but in this form there is nothing comparable in the range so far. Exciting and varied single cask.

      Immediately after pouring it releases the smell of (unsulphured) dried figs, dates and plums. A handle on the spice rack, and come out: cinnamon, coriander, pepper, thyme, tarragon, nutmeg and savory. Leather and tobacco notes. Vanilla beans. Everything well matched - and yet equally well separable. Taken together, this results in an elegant and voluminous (in the best sense classical) pot still nose.

      Start with the bite in a marzipan bread served for Advent ... Creamy, oily and not a bit shy. A good portion of the spices from the nose at the beginning, quickly while well-dried oak. At first harsh, as the nose suggests. Then come raisins and figs and take something of the harsh spiciness. Dark chocolate cocoa, toasted espresso powder, toffee sweets, old leather. Over time almonds and hazelnuts.

      Long, dry, spicy and fine-dry - and always, if you think, but now it's really over, then comes yet another flavor around the corner. That really does not stop here ... Exciting.
