A very interesting and multi-layered malt. Dark and sweet PX elements mix with creamy and spicy wood tones, liquorice and a subtle sea surprise provide a bitter contrast. An intensive nut mix is in the background all the time and often flashes powerfully. The mouthfeel is still extremely creamy and spicy, the indefinable spice note returns. Interesting and tasty!

    • Nose
Creamy caramel rests in the glass. The nose is extremely closed at the beginning, but slowly the nose opens and sweet biscuit aroma rises from the Premium Snifter. Raisins play with caramelized sugar, there is a heavy dark berry aroma in the air, hints of leather are added, a subtle mint note is minimal. A pinch of salt and a hint of stale sea water emerge, liquorice and dates exude their subtle aroma. the next moment the nose shows its sweet side, butter cookies, vanilla and raisins land for the first sip.
    • Taste
Dark and sweet PX aroma flatters the first contact of the tongue, oily raisins and milk chocolate are distributed on the palate. Liquorice and an oriental spice note end in oily and greasy butter batter, plums and dried berries stick to the palate, slowly creamy wood tones emerge. The second sip flows creamy and sweet on the tongue. Chubby warmth is distributed on the palate with roasted aromas and hazelnuts, raisins and dates end again in tart and spicy wood tones. The mouthfeel is extremely strange, but on the other hand super delicious and creamy. From time to time the alcohol shows its powerful side, the dried fruits with sweet and creamy wood notes form a wonderful contrast.
    • Finish
Spicy wood elements stick to the palate, spicy liquorice and a strange spice note rest on the tongue, hazelnuts end in an old walnut aroma. I imagine that I can perceive a slight coconut note that separates from a sweet pastry note. The creamy aftertaste ends with an insanely intense nut note.
