A lovely Islay malt with a fine aroma, slightly anonymous taste and a wonderful finish. Unmistakable Islay malt with good contributions from several of the island's best distilleries.
    • Nose
      84 84
A pleasant Islay nose. The first thing you smell is pepper and sour peat smoke. Then comes sweet grain and dried grass. In the end, fruit with figs and some citrus emerges.
    • Taste
      82 82
Very subdued softness fills the mouth. The taste is dominated by the very pleasant smoky malt, but you can also sense hints of sour candies. As an underlay, there are some bitter spices.
    • Finish
      85 85
The sour smoke spreads throughout the mouth and then sweet malt drags down in the throat. Sharp but beautiful alcohol settles on the edge of the tongue while heat fills up the mouth. All this fantastic scenery lasts a long time and slowly ebbs into a fine familiar Islay smoke.
