  1. LDB scored this whisky 81 points Connoisseur

Not bad, but you do not notice the 30 years at any point. No one really expects that he is a blast.
For 80 € the bottle I fell in any case immediately xxx other malts, which I would buy me.
    • Nose
      83 83
For 47% comparatively strong alcoholic, wall paint, loam or slightly animalistic notes (wild boar?), Tart-sweet dry apricot, almond oil, a little celery, later comes marzipan raw mass and very slightly musty cabinet wall. The nose is quite acceptable after really much time in the glass (40min and more).
    • Taste
      81 81
At first silky, but full of mouth lining, delicious dried apricots, with roasted hazelnuts, a pepper and cinnamon mixture, before then takes on a little oak bitterness and sets a leinöl- or even heather-like taste. The taste itself is really not wrong, but nothing that really sticks.
    • Finish
      80 80
Is gone after a woody note very quickly, leaving behind a hint of dry sherry, positively said: he says goodbye clean and unfussy. Negatively speaking: very weak.
