For me the lemon was too dominating in smell and taste.
    • Nose
Vanilla, honey, toffee, lemon (somewhat dominant), peach, pineapple, touch of banana, cereal, grass, green apple and butter.
    • Taste
Lemon zest, grapefruit, cereal, cinnamon, green apple, grass, unripe banana, pineapple and mango tea.
    • Finish
Short, dry, hint of tea, lemon zest, grapefruit, cereal, oak, dried grass, hint of green apple, unripe banana, pineapple and mango.

N- Apparent sherry, raisin, milky cookies and toffee candy, then vanilla and coffee, chocolate to followed with some nutty notes. Gentle and soft aroma that amplified on the oak characters. (85/19)

P- Spicy pickled ginger, soft sweet sherry on the surface, vanilla, mashed grain and cereal. Thin. (83/18)

F- Short, rather juicy, then dryness kick in with light and clean finish. (85/19)

    B/B- 84/18

    Cereal- 2, Fruity- 1, Floral- 1, Peaty- 0, Feinty- 0, Sulphury- 0, Woody- 2, Winery- 1

    Weighted Rate- 74pt

One of the worst single malts I've ever tasted

Smells like an over sweetened blend on the nose, there is mango and a little pineapple and then a big dollop of butter.
Smells like grain to me, I know it isn't but that is what it reminds me of.
Very simple profile, pleasantly sweet, honeyed and buttery and I have to say it improves with time with hints of spice.
There is a candy sweetness that grows from the start.
Finish is a little short but pleasant enough

This is definitely a sipper and one for the drinker with a sweet tooth,

a round, clean Speysider. The increase to the Bradan Orach is huge.
    • Nose
shy, fruity, grassy, lemon, pear at first
    • Taste
very soft and round, malt, fruit, licorice
    • Finish
surprisingly dry, a bit citrus, grassy, light vanilla.

N: Sweet & fruity lemon candy/sponge cake with some un-baked flour in the middle.
T: More flour again and with more fruits shooting through in the guise of more candy & fermented sour citrus fruits. A slightly uncomfortable experience overall.
    F: etc,..
C: I’m not wild about it.

Nothing special. Acceptable for the price segment.

A good dram for the price. In direct comparison to Cardhu 12 years, this is my clear favorite
    • Nose
Fruity to apple, the malt comes through, light touch of vanilla & chocolate, bubble gum ??
    • Taste
At the first sip, chocolate came, then no more, but honey notes and herbs
    • Finish
Again slightly malty with honey notes and herbs, quite a short finish
