The distillery secured a railroad arch on "London's Beer Mile" on Druid Street in Bermondsey. Following the move production at the distillery was shut down for eight months while the company transferred its distilling approvals from Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC)

The British Honey Company

January 2020, the company went into administration. The British Honey Company purchased the Dodd’s Gin and Rye brands.

In 2020 we acquired the brands of the London Distillery Company (LDC) - Dodd's Gins and its Rye Whiskey LV-1767 Edition. We are delighted to have these exceptional spirits in our portfolio, which are now made to the same original recipe and to our highest quality standards by our Master Distiller Jamie Baggott and former LDC distiller Marzio di Rocco at our distillery in Buckinghamshire, just outside of London.

In October 2015, The London Distillery Company's original location on Parkgate Road in Battersea was sold to a property developer and the business was relocated.

First bottle on the market = Rye Whiskey LV-1767 Edition

It was bottled at 54.3% ABV, with only 251 bottles produced.

Administration

After another failed funding round by O’Sullivan in December 2019, three TLDC directors resigned and in January 2020 the company appointed Geoffrey Martin & Co as administrators.

Gleann Mor Spirits
British Honey Company was acquired by Gleann Mor Spirits.
