About Glen Grant

Founded in 1840 by James and John Grant, Glen Grant was one of the first licensed distilleries in Rothes and became recognizable for its use of tall stills and purifiers, producing a relatively lighter Speyside style. While much of its whisky has been aimed at export markets (especially Italy), older expressions and independent bottlings have offered glimpses into more complex single cask offerings.
