About Ladyburn

Ladyburn was a Lowland single malt Scotch whisky distillery established in 1966 by William Grant & Sons as part of the Girvan grain complex. It operated for less than a decade, closing in 1975, and is known for being one of Scotland’s shortest-lived malt distilleries. Originally intended for blending, a limited number of single malt bottlings have since been released, either officially or through independent bottlers under names like “Ayrshire.” These rare releases preserve the distillery’s brief but notable contribution to Scotch whisky history.
