About Glencadam

Glencadam is the single malt whisky brand produced by the Glencadam Distillery, located in Brechin, Angus. While the distillery has operated intermittently since 1825, the Glencadam brand remained relatively obscure for much of its history, with most of its output used in blended Scotch. The brand was revived and repositioned after Angus Dundee Distillers acquired the site in 2003. Under this ownership, Glencadam as a brand has focused on core age-statement releases, non-chill-filtered bottlings, and traditional maturation methods without heavy cask finishes.
