A shame of the added caramel and needing the 43%. But it did get the 43% abv, and that is a good thing. It tries to be a friend for all (without any peat) and it tries a bit too hard.
With a little water the nose gains a lot but the taste doesn't. The finish is unaffected by the water.

W/o water: sweet, bubblegum, icing sugar, grain, bread. Perfumed.
W/ water: more complex. Sweet and bitter fruit. Warm, savoury notes. -
W/o water: the arrival is a sweet heat. Swiftly into the development of hot juicy citrus; oranges and tangerines. But definitely hot.
W/ water: sweet arrival and immediate development to sweet sour bitter citrusfruits. -
Oaky dryeness in a citrussy finish, quite long and staying dry.
